All That Glitters is Artisan Jewelry

My love for earrings has been an obsession since the beginning of time. I have collected so many pairs over the years and I can shamelessly say that I still don’t have enough. It is the perfect accessory that can dress up or add flair to any outfit.

As my passion for earrings has evolved, I have realized that there is something truly special about the handmade earrings versus the mass machine-produced pieces. When jewelry is handmade by an artist, no two pairs are ever identical. There is a kind of love that goes into this art that can be felt by the wearer, and that is magical. See four pieces from my new collection below and how to style them with the right outfit.

I began designing and creating earrings when I realized that it was my best way of bringing to life the earrings I couldn’t find anywhere else. Once I started making them for myself I began to have a growing desire to share my creations with other women.

The inspiration for my pieces comes mostly from my appreciation of the Mayan Empire, Ancient Egypt and the 80’s. I work with various shapes, bright colors, fabrics with abstract patterns, custom beading designs and gemstones. My pieces are for every woman who wants to feel more feminine and chic. They are meant to awaken your inner Goddess, reminding you that you are a queen at the core!

Lapis Lazuli

These lapis lazuli earrings are one of my smaller creations. They are blue & white and delicately wire-wrapped with hematite cubes. I find they pair well with any denim look like the one shown here, but also any blues, neutrals or yellows you might have in your closet.

Serpentine

These serpentine earrings (below) have hints of blues and greens, which makes it perfect to pair with any denim look. But they are also great with complimentary colors like this fun mustard yellow top.

Mayan Priestess

Introducing the Mayan Priestess. These beauties are hand-beaded and the burnt orange fabric is perfect for the coming fall season. Pair them with a chic all black look, low booties and an edgy motorcycle jacket.

Sun Goddess

I call these the Sun Goddess. Styled in this picture with a neutral sheer top. These stud-dangle earrings are the perfect way to dress up a casual outfit. Yet, they also make a perfect finishing touch to an elegant look. They are hand-beaded on a mustard yellow fabric. This color pairs wonderfully with neutrals, golds, oranges, black and even denim.

There are so many ways to style these pieces. The idea is to get creative, be bold and let your cool femininity shine!
